This honey is harvest just miles away in the foothills of NC off Hibriten Mountain by a Master Beekeeper and has been certified organic. 

It's dark color comes from mainly huckleberry but has been tested to have over 300 different strands of pollen!! That means you can say goodbye to seasonal allergies when you use this as an all natural allergy helper :)

My kiddos and I had the change to learn about bee keeping from this lovely family and spend time watching them collect swarms and see the bee's at work!!

Such a great experience and even lovelier people!! It is available in 2 different sizes and available in the shop!!

Est. in 1930 and located at 106 East Main Street in West Jefferson, NC. They make on average 30,000 pounds of cheese per week and are now producing about 20 different varieties. 

Their viewing room is open daily where you can watch the cheese making process at no charge!! You can also sample and purchase the products in the retail shop across the street from the factory. 

This local farm is in the valley just minutes away and full of happy naturally grown veggies!!

 You can order produce direct from them at hedgefamilyfarm.com (click katz as your pick up location first and then you will be brought to a screen where you can see what is available this week and it's price. You must click on a pick up location before you can see anything else.) 

Then you simply come here to the shop Saturdays at 10a.m. to pick up your order that's been kept cold in our cooler.

We source local produce whenever the season allows from farms and suppliers stretching between Boone to Hickory. If you have local produce we'd love to talk with you about setting up a week to week delivery from you!
